The U.S. Treasury sold 7-year notes at a high yield rate of 4.290 percent, unchanged from the prior auction, @LiveSquawk reported. The when-issued yield stood at 4.260 percent ahead of the results. The bid-cover ratio came in at 2.5, slightly below the previous sale's 2.52.
Direct bidders took 29.7 percent of the offering, up from 11.2 percent last time. Indirect bidders accepted 57.55 percent, down from 78.4 percent in the earlier auction.
