US Senate Subcommittee to Hear Testimony From Vaccine Critics and Regulators on Covid-19 Vaccine Safety Claims

Dr Aseem Malhotra and Professor Angus Dalgleish will address the United States Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations on June 3 about possible mechanisms through which Covid-19 vaccines may cause cancer and about alleged suppression of scientific debate.

The hearing, titled "Plausible Mechanisms of Covid-19 Injections Causing Cancer and Attacks on Scientific Publications," is chaired by Senator Ron Johnson, the Republican senator for Wisconsin. " In a letter inviting Dr Malhotra, Johnson requested evidence about his work studying mechanisms through which Covid-19 vaccines may cause cancer and his experiences with the peer review process.

The subcommittee previously investigated the collapse of Enron and the conduct of major Wall Street banks after the 2008 financial crash. Dr Malhotra, a leading cardiologist and former NHS adviser, initially encouraged vaccine uptake among high-risk ethnic minority groups and appeared on Good Morning Britain for that purpose.

He says his position changed after his father, Dr Kailash Chand, honorary vice-president of the British Medical Association, died at age 73 following an unexpected cardiac arrest.

Malhotra will tell the subcommittee that a re-analysis of Pfizer and Moderna’s original trials found serious harm from the vaccines two to four times more likely than hospitalization with severe Covid. He published peer-reviewed papers calling for a moratorium on mRNA Covid vaccines and stated that millions worldwide may face premature cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Professor Angus Dalgleish, professor emeritus of oncology at the University of London and principal of the Institute of Cancer Vaccines and Immunotherapy, will describe observations beginning in late 2021 of unexpected cancer relapses and unusually aggressive disease in patients whose conditions had been stable for years.

He links these patterns to repeated Covid booster administration and notes advanced-stage disease in younger individuals. Dalgleish will call for an independent investigation into the potential relationship between repeated mRNA vaccination, immune dysregulation, and aggressive cancer progression. He will state that science advances through rigorous inquiry rather than silence or suppression.

Prepared opening remarks for the hearing state that regulators decided to use a safety surveillance algorithm they knew would hide safety signals on extremely serious adverse events, including sudden death. The hearing will also examine claims that drug companies spent billions of dollars on television advertising to capture the narrative.

Former Health Secretary and Prime Minister Keir Starmer both criticised Dr Malhotra for his claims about the health risks of the Covid-19 jabs.

The claims remain disputed by regulators, vaccine manufacturers and many scientists, who maintain that Covid vaccine side effects are rare and that the vaccines prevented millions of hospitalisations and deaths worldwide. It is understood President Trump will be informed of the debate.
