The left tackle said Thursday his knee feels the best it has since a 2024 injury. He tore ligaments in October 2024 and missed seven games last season after returning. He also missed portions of several other games, which forced lineup changes along the offensive line.

The team finished 9-8 and missed the playoffs. Center Ryan Kelly retired this offseason. "Best it's felt in two years," the player said via Emily Leiker of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "I'm trending in the right direction.

The team must choose a quarterback for the 2026 season. Any selection will have a better chance to succeed if the left tackle is available more often this fall than in the previous two seasons.
