Walmart recalls Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning over salmonella risk
Walmart is advising customers nationwide to discard specific containers of Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning after a voluntary recall linked to possible salmonella contamination in an ingredient. The recall covers three lot numbers sold in 7.3-ounce containers.

The affected seasoning was made with a dry milk powder ingredient supplied by California Dairies, Inc.
that had itself been recalled over salmonella concerns. Blackstone Products, based in Providence, Utah, announced the voluntary recall on May 15.
Recall details The recall covers Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning sold in 7.3-ounce containers with product number #4106. The affected lot numbers are 2025-43282 (best-by date July 2, 2027), 2025-46172 (best-by date Aug. 5, 2027), and 2026-54751 (best-by date Aug.
12, 2027). The products were sold exclusively at Walmart stores and on Blackstone’s website. Customers are urged not to consume the seasoning and to dispose of it immediately.
Health risks and company response Salmonella infection can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain in healthy adults. In rare cases the bacteria can enter the bloodstream and lead to arterial infections, endocarditis, or arthritis, according to the FDA.
Blackstone said consumers can contact the company at 1-888-879-4610 for replacement products or additional information. The Post has sought comment from Blackstone Products.
