was selected by an NFL team in the fourth round of the 2019 draft out of Iowa State. He missed his rookie season with a broken hand and was released the following offseason. He appeared in two games with another team in 2020 before joining the UFL in 2023. His 2024 UFL performance led to a training camp invitation, though he was released before the regular season.
Current development The Broncos coach has shown a preference for larger wide receivers. Butler joins a group that includes a recently acquired player, a 2025 Pro Bowler, and several recent draft selections. Butler, 30, previously won UFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2024.
