XR Health acquires Swing Therapeutics, digital fibromyalgia treatment developer
Medical virtual reality company XR Health acquired Swing Therapeutics, which developed an FDA-cleared digital treatment for fibromyalgia. The deal marks XR Health's sixth acquisition in two years as it expands its digital treatment offerings.

Medical virtual reality company XR Health acquired Swing Therapeutics, the developer of a Food and Drug Administration-cleared digital treatment for fibromyalgia. The transaction is XR Health's sixth acquisition in the last two years. XR Health CEO Eran Orr said the terms were not disclosed because additional acquisitions are planned.
Company platforms and reach XR Health operates dozens of apps on its platform and reported one million user sessions in 2025. The apps include meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy-based virtual reality experiences for mental health issues, pain, and hot flashes.
XR Health's large packages of VR treatments are registered with the FDA but not cleared. Swing's fibromyalgia treatment is marketed primarily through telehealth clinics. Swing Therapeutics developed the digital treatment that XR Health now adds to its portfolio of disease-focused digital therapies.
