Yankees announce Aaron Judge has right rib stress fracture
The team said the outfielder will miss at least a quarter of the season. Judge will not undergo further imaging for at least a month.

Injury history Aaron Judge has missed at least a quarter of a 162-game season three times. In 2018 he missed 54 games with a right wrist fracture. In 2019 he missed 54 games with a left oblique strain. In 2023 he missed 42 games with a severe sprain of his right big toe.
The 2020 season is excluded from the count because it was shortened to 60 games due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the five full seasons Judge has played the majority of games, he finished fourth, second, and first three times in AL MVP voting.
