New York man sues ICE over email to former agency head

An upstate New York resident sued U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after federal officers visited his home and delivered a warning notice over an email he sent to the agency's former acting director. David Streever, a U.S. citizen, was traveling in Finland when two officers arrived at his Rochester residence in June and presented his wife with the notice, his attorneys said.
The notice stated that the January email was viewed as a threat.
