Los Angeles School Superintendent Resigns During Federal Probe
Alberto Carvalho stepped down Sunday from the Los Angeles Unified School District, the nation’s second-largest, five months after federal agents searched his home and district offices. Acting superintendent Andrés Chait will continue in the role pending a permanent appointment.
