Australia's Parliament to Adjourn Early for ANZAC Hall Opening and Tax Bill Review
Parliament will end its sitting at 5:30 pm on 23 June 2026 instead of 8 pm. The change allows members to attend the official opening of ANZAC Hall at the Australian War Memorial. Independent Senator David Pocock criticised the rushed handling of a separate tax bill.
