Shizuoka Prefecture Approves Maglev Line Construction
Shizuoka Prefecture has agreed to sign a nature conservation agreement with Central Japan Railway, ending years of delay over environmental concerns for the Chuo Shinkansen maglev project. The 9-kilometer section through the prefecture can now proceed.
