Kang, who also holds stakes in the NWSL's Washington Spirit and OL Lyonnes, said the addition would create new commercial opportunities and development pathways.
The club earned promotion to the WSL for the 2025-2026 season and finished sixth in its first campaign with eight wins, three draws and 11 losses. London City has also signed goalkeeper Mary Earps and is expected to announce the signing of Mapi Leon.
