The Cleveland Browns traded Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, June 1, 2026. Myles Garrett was the 2025 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Cincinnati Bengals starting left tackle Orlando Brown Jr.

And starting right tackle Amarius Mims addressed the change. Both players had faced Garrett for eight quarters per season over multiple years. Orlando Brown Jr. told Geoff Hobson: “(Verse) is a young player who is also a great player.

Amarius Mims told Geoff Hobson: “It’s the hardest division anywhere, whether it’s Myles Garrett or Jared Verse. Both have been to the Pro Bowl. Verse has been every year he’s been in the league. ” Jared Verse is a third-year defensive end for the Cleveland Browns.

He was the 19th pick in the 2024 NFL draft and won Defensive Rookie of the Year. Verse has recorded 12 sacks in his first two NFL seasons and has been selected to two Pro Bowls. He turns 26 in November 2026.

Amarius Mims was drafted one spot above Jared Verse in the 2024 NFL draft. Verse has spent the majority of his time rushing the passer against the left side of the line but will have reps against right tackle Amarius Mims from time to time as well.
