The service is built by Gigs, the same company that operates Klarna's mobile offering. It is currently rolling out to select users, with wider availability scheduled for the coming months.
App stated that the phone service will connect to its Green rewards program and its Families tool for managing supervised child and teen accounts. Users will be able to handle mobile service, spending, and saving within the same application. The plan also includes data roaming in Canada and Mexico.
