Glover and Hodges share John Deere Classic lead after third round

Lucas Glover and Lee Hodges are tied for the lead after the third round of the John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run. Glover chipped in for eagle on an early hole and added a birdie on his final hole. Those were his only two subpar holes in a round of 2-under 69. He reached the 54-hole mark at 12 under par.

Third-round scores Hodges posted a 66 and also stands at 12 under.

Zac Blair shot 68 to reach 11 under and sits alone in third place. Six players are one stroke further back at 10 under: Jackson Suber, Tyler Duncan, Troy Merritt, David Lipsky, Ryo Hisatsune and Ben Kohles.

Earlier rounds and cut line Glover had opened with a 6-under 65 on Friday to lead by two shots after 36 holes. He has yet to record a bogey through three rounds. Eric Cole shot the low round of the day with a 63 on Friday. Daniel Berger, Max Greyserman and Sudarshan Yellamaraju missed the cut by one stroke.

Jackson Koivun, making his professional debut, also missed the cut after eight bogeys over his first 36 holes.
