Kayleigh Powell Signs New One-Year Contract at Harlequins After Ellie Kildunne Exit

Wales international Kayleigh Powell signed a new contract with Harlequins that will keep her at the club for another season. The 27-year-old joined Harlequins from Bristol Bears in 2024. She made 14 appearances for the Premiership Women's Rugby side this season, playing at both fly-half and full-back.
Powell was one of Wales' standout players in the 2026 Women's Six Nations. She made 392 metres with ball in hand and scored a try against Italy in the final round. She has also represented Great Britain in rugby sevens and played at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Powell's re-signing follows the departure of England full-back Ellie Kildunne earlier this month. "I'm pleased to be re-signing with Harlequins," Powell said. "I feel that as an individual and as a club we have so much more to achieve.
