A 2020 senior quote in a Long Island high school yearbook that read "Knicks in 6. 2026 NBA Finals" has circulated widely after the New York Knicks advanced to the championship series. Evan Pfeufer, now 23, wrote the line in Smithtown High School West's yearbook.
He told ESPN the phrase "rhymes so well" and that he expected most classmates would later regret their own quotes. Pfeufer posted a photo of the yearbook entry on Instagram on May 25. The post has received more than 120,000 likes since it appeared on social media last Thursday.
