The martial arts action story follows nine warriors of the Joseon Dynasty who travel to the Japanese island of Tsushima to rescue captives. Lee Byung-hun plays the head warrior, a seasoned fighter known for sharp judgment and steadfast beliefs.
Go Youn-jung plays a woman who lost her family to the enemy and joins the fight to save her kidnapped sibling. Lee Mo-gae will direct the film in his feature debut. Hive Media Corp said production will start later this year.
