Los Angeles Dodgers Secure Third Straight Win After Four-Game Skid

The Los Angeles Dodgers recorded three consecutive wins after dropping four straight games. The victories came against the San Francisco Giants and in a series that began in Anaheim. Shohei Ohtani started on the mound in one game and threw seven scoreless innings. He allowed four hits and struck out eight batters. Two relievers completed the shutout.

The Dodgers collected nine hits in an eight-inning game that included back-to-back home runs by Santiago Espinal and Mookie Betts. Kyle Tucker and Teoscar Hernández each had two hits. In the following game the team tallied eight hits and scored five runs in a 5-2 result.

Teoscar Hernández recorded three hits including two doubles. The third win was a 6-0 decision. Andy Pages hit a three-run home run for his first hit in a week. Max Muncy added a solo home run and Teoscar Hernández hit a two-run home run.

Roberts gave Shohei Ohtani a day off after the pitching appearance. The Dodgers improved their season slash line to .262/.341/.434 after the three wins. The team remains a half-game ahead of the San Diego Padres. Blake Snell has been placed on the injured list with loose bodies in his elbow.
