Miami Dolphins Sign 10 of 13 Draft Picks to Four-Year Deals, Including Delayed First-Round Contracts

The Miami Dolphins signed 10 draft picks to four-year contracts in a single overnight wave, locking in roughly 77 percent of their 2026 draft class before most fans finished refreshing their feeds. The group included three wide receivers, three linebackers, one safety, one guard, one tight end, and one defensive end.

Miami entered the draft with Sharp Football Analysis identifying wide receiver and defensive back as the roster’s deepest holes.

The team addressed those positions with six selections inside the top 100 picks, tying a franchise record previously reached in 1968, 1997, and 2020. Kadyn Proctor was selected 12th overall out of Alabama. 6 PFF defensive grade, the best among all college cornerbacks in 2025, and earning an AP midseason All-America nod.

GM Jon-Eric Sullivan told reporters he believed Johnson could play any defensive back position. Both first-rounders were initially excluded from the 10-player signing wave, with their deals completed later. Jacob Rodriguez was drafted 43rd overall.
