EngadgetMicrosoft updated its line of Xbox thumbstick toppers at the Ability Summit. The company added a seventh shape and made design changes to improve durability. The new shape is called the goal post topper.
It joins six existing designs: plate, dome, narrow stick, pull, sphere, and a custom base for moldable materials. Microsoft launched the thumbstick topper program in 2024. The current update is the first change since the initial release.
The redesigned toppers will be available on the Xbox Design Lab landing page on Thursday, May 21. The files are free to download and require a 3D printer for use. The announcement coincides with Global Accessibility Awareness Day.
