Top performers One team earned an A+ after three straight 100-loss seasons, finishing first in its division with three players who each hit at least 20 home runs. Another club also received an A+ after posting the best run differential in its league and recording the sixth-most strikeouts in the first half by any pitcher age 24 or younger.
A third team received an A after pacing for 105 wins despite multiple injuries to key players. A fourth club earned an A after one player hit 26 home runs through the first half, placing the player on pace for a second consecutive 45-home-run season.
Other grades One team received an A- after holding first place and pacing for 95 wins, though its offense posted the lowest OPS in the majors during June and its rotation lost a starter to the 60-day injured list.
