Shania Twain joined Mumford and Sons on stage at BST Hyde Park on Saturday for a surprise performance hours after opening for Harry Styles at Wembley Stadium. The Independent reported that Twain raced across London to appear with the band on the final night of Styles' run there. Marcus Mumford introduced Twain to the crowd as a cheeky surprise and told fans she was his hero.
He said she had played Wembley Stadium that night and was now at Hyde Park. The pair performed a duet of Here before launching into Man! I Feel Like A Woman! with Mumford playing tambourine. Mumford and Sons delivered a two-hour set that included I Will Wait, Little Lion Man and The Cave.
Mumford told the audience the band did not come to mess around after a long absence from their home town. He noted that each song and the band's relationships began in London. Hozier joined Mumford and Sons during the show for performances of Rubber Band Man and Awake My Soul.
BST Hyde Park continues on Sunday with a headline set from Duran Duran.
