A wide receiver who grew up as a New England Patriots fan joined the team Tuesday for voluntary organized team activities after completing a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles. The player participated in drills at the team's facility in Foxborough, Massachusetts, one day after the transaction became official.

The Eagles received a 2028 first-round draft pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick in exchange.

The head coach stated that details of the player's departure from Philadelphia should not affect the locker room. He stated that the two "still competed" and "led the team" despite growing apart over the past couple of years. The player also said he did not understand why the change in their relationship drew public attention.
