Saab received an order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration for sensors and command-and-control systems that will form part of a ground-based air defence solution for Swedish Army brigades. 2 billion, Benzinga reported. The announcement was made in Stockholm on June 2, 2026.

Deliveries under the contract are scheduled to occur between 2029 and 2030. The command-and-control and sensor systems build on previous deliveries to FMV. The contract is intended to strengthen Sweden's ground-based air defence capability and give the end-user an improved ability to detect and counter advanced aerial threats.

"We are very proud to contribute to strengthening the ground-based air defence capability of the Swedish Army brigades," the company said in the release.
