iphoneincanada.caThe Schlage Sense Pro deadbolt lock will go on sale in the U.S. on June 29 for $399. Customers can unlock supported doors by approaching with a compatible device instead of using keys or biometric scans. The product was first announced at CES 2025. It uses Schlage's proprietary Converge technology to calculate speed, trajectory, and motion for automatic unlocking.
Connectivity and features The Sense Pro is Schlage's first lock to support Matter over Thread, allowing pairing with a Thread-enabled home hub for low-latency performance. It is also compatible with the Aliro standard for UWB hands-free unlocking and NFC tap-to-unlock.
Schlage stated that Aliro digital key support for Samsung Wallet and Google Wallet is expected later this year. The lock includes built-in Wi-Fi and can be managed through the Schlage Home app or the Apple Home app. The device offers up to six months of battery life under standard use and includes a USB-C port for temporary power when batteries are depleted.
A low-battery indicator appears on the lock's touchscreen. The only other lock currently supporting hands-free Aliro UWB unlocking is the Aqara U400, which launched earlier this year at $270.
