South Korean, Norwegian Leaders Discuss Security and Technology Ties in Ankara

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store held bilateral talks on July 8 in Ankara, Turkey, to explore deeper cooperation in security and technology. The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the NATO summit, where Lee is participating as the leader of one of the alliance's partner countries.

Lee said the two nations are strengthening ties into a mutually beneficial relationship across the economy, industry, culture and defense at a time of growing global instability.

"During today's bilateral talks, I would like to discuss in depth how and in what areas we can further deepen our relations," Lee said.
