9, 2028. The recalled blueberries were sold at Publix stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A. and Publix received 12 reports of consumers experiencing stomach illnesses linked to E.
Coli infections between May 11 and June 5, according to a Publix news release cited by Usa Today. Consumers should immediately discard or return affected blueberries to the place of purchase for a full refund. Blueberries with a purchase date of July 3, 2026 or before should be discarded, Publix advises.
