Teenage Engineering Releases OS 2.5 for EP-133 KO II Sampler
The update adds USB audio, selectable sample rates, sample reverse, an arpeggiator and other features to the $329 device. It also extends maximum mono sample length to 40 seconds and includes bug fixes. The same update applies to the EP-40 Riddim, while the EP-1320 Medieval receives only USB audio.

Teenage Engineering released OS 2.5 for the EP-133 KO II sampler on June 27, 2026. The Verge reported that the free update adds audio over USB, selectable sample rates, sample reverse, an arpeggiator, equal-length autochopping, improved time stretching, new scales, per-pad time shifting and multiple bug fixes.
The update extends the maximum sample length from 20 seconds to 40 seconds when recording in mono.
Selectable sample rates include a 32 kHz mode and a 26 kHz mode that produces a crunchy, lo-fi character. OS 2.5 is also available for the EP-40 Riddim sampler. The EP-1320 Medieval sampler received a separate update that adds only USB audio.
Users can download the updates from Teenage Engineering's website. The EP-133 KO II sampler is priced at $329.
