At least three men were arrested this week for allegedly threatening to kill President Donald Trump or members of his family, the Justice Department said. FBI agents arrested Garry Lee Williams, 44, of Knoxville, on Thursday for allegedly posting repeated TikTok videos that threatened to kill Trump, FBI Director Kash Patel, Knox County Sheriff Tom Spangler and Knoxville Police Chief Paul Noe.

He faces charges of threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict bodily harm on a member of the president’s immediate family. Upham’s and Eckert’s charges each carry a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison. Trial dates have not been set.
Federal prosecutors have increasingly used statutes prohibiting threats against the president to pursue posts made on social media, @Forbes reported.
