U.S. issues statement on possible Russian action in Poland

U.S. intelligence has warned Polish officials that Russia may be planning an armed provocation on Polish territory, according to multiple sources cited by Polish media. The reported scenarios include drone strikes on power stations, simulated air attacks that would trigger Polish air defenses, or a small ground incursion staged from Kaliningrad or Belarus.

Officials said the operation could be presented as an accident caused by GPS failure or a rescue mission for a malfunctioning helicopter.
