The voyage supported more than 500 injured veterans, and the charity is raising £300,000 to fund its work with former servicemen.
Expedition details Chief Instructor at Turn to Starboard Paul Miller spoke to GB News about the journey. He said the experience offered participants a reset, camaraderie, and a break from daily pressures. Miller noted that the crew adapted to unmodified vessels. He said everyone on board had a role in safely moving the boats.
Conditions and route The vessels sailed anti-clockwise, contrary to usual prevailing wind advice. Miller said the decision was driven by scheduled events. Miller stated that the boats handled varied weather and high seas. He said safety remained the priority throughout the voyage.
